Growing up Catholic, I always took the image of God very literally (old man sitting on a cloud in a big robe) and had a hard time truly believing. I’ve always been fascinated with religion, and enjoy reading about each one and trying to find the common thread. As I began meditating to help my Generalized Anxiety Disorder per my Doctor’s request, an odd side effect came about. I started to realize that what I was searching for was deep inside me, and I found God in the most beautiful place- my own heart.
