As a child I was teased occasionally about how much I read. In my adult life no one teases me about my reading because of how often my “useless” knowledge learned from books comes in handy. My latest rabbit hole has been why suicide rates are so high in mountain towns. Sure, I don’t even know any single men living in Aspen, but when I do, I’m going to have some good advice for him on how important social bonds and community are!
