Howard Zinn‘s A People’s History of the United States is one of those books that should be mandatory reading for Americans – the world, actually. Learning to see things from different perspectives is so important, and it brings forth compassion for those on the other side. He also shows you that we as a people have power, we should never give up and are stronger when we work together. If everyone made small changes and actions, there is no telling what we could get accomplished!
